First Strike Graphic Design became an extension of a visitors guide to the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales in Australia called The Hunter Monthly in 1996. The artwork required for The Hunter Monthly was predominantly black and white, First Strike was created to perform full colour gloss art for brochures and business cards in addition to web site design and T-Shirt art.

Over 11 years we have gained a unique perspective on brochure design by delivering a number of brochures throughout the Hunter and observing the effectiveness of different design elements and paper stocks. We have also honed the printers we source for completing the job to a small number who balance quality and pricing to achieve the best outcome at the best price.

We have been both researching and designing web sites since 1995. The research provides valuable insight into both the most effective design of efficient imagery and of sites which perform to expectations. This includes smart ways of utilising and promoting your site to your target market.

In 2007 we added short run digital printing to the list of services we can provide our clients. If you need small runs of anything, from business cards to banners, we can do it for you.
